This is the most luxurious poker set with its extravagant Alligator exterior and diamond encrusted chips, costing an amazing £4.95 Million. This beautiful piece was created by Geoffrey Parker, a London-based producer of the finest games in the world, and his poker set can also be bespoke to the fortunate clients desires.

The Case

The beautiful Alligator case is hand-crafted in the Geoffrey Parker workshop, where the client has a choice between either a matt or gloss finish and tanned in any colour at the highest quality by specialists that also supply Hermès. The case is then lined with opulent suede which creates the stowage for the chips, cards, and accessories.

Along the edge of the stunning Alligator case is a string of Diamonds set into an 18ct Gold channel which creates an outstanding finishing touch. Not forgetting a solid Gold engraving plaque that can also be made with Diamonds to engrave a special message or name.

The remarkable Poker set has a traditional hand-stitched carrying handle made entirely from leather with thick English Bridle hide at its core and it is then bound with Alligator; complete with a bottom and top riser to make carrying this heavy and important piece more comfortable. The leather handle is then fitted to solid hallmarked 18c white or yellow gold handle plates and rings, with a further two 18ct Gold combination locks on either side, which can again be in either white or yellow gold.

Chips

The chips are precisely 40/1.5748” diameters and are made in a solid hallmarked 18ct white or yellow gold and are double-sided inlaid in exotic Shagreen (Stingray). The chips are hen further inlaid with Dauphin calf leather to the centre that is embossed with the clients preferred denomination and value. There is also an opportunity to personalize one side of each cheap.

The highest value chips have Diamonds set around them with an aubergine coloured Shagreen which create the various colour chips available like so:

- Blue chips have Sapphires set to the edge with blue have Shagreen inlays

- Green with Emeralds and green Shagreen

- Red with Rubies and red Shagreen

- Black with black Diamonds and pearl black Shagreen

The Shagreen comes from tanners in Thailand and is hand polished in an art-nouveau finish giving a beautiful two-tone effect.

Accessories

The dealer button has a diameter of 44.5mm/1.75 and is made of solid hallmarked 18ct white or yellow Gold and is set with Diamonds around its edge, and is further inlaid with Alligator on its top and bottom and embossed in gold or silver; below which three 18ct Gold “Blind” buttons are stowed with Emeralds, Sapphires and Rubies set to their edges. Either side of this finery is four decks of either silver or gold plated playing cards on Alligator card lifts.

Gold and Precious Stones

It is estimated that over 22,650 stones are used within this piece, amounting to over one thousand carats. Approximately 12.5 kilos (27.55 lbs) of 18ct Gold will also be used.

This stunning piece is handmade to order and takes approximately 6 to 9 months to make.
