A high-end champagne maker has created the most expensive bottle in the world after encrusting the logo with a 19-carat diamond worth $1.8 million.
Handcrafted from 18-carat solid gold, Goût de Diamants' Superman-style signature logo is centred by a single, flawless deep-cut white diamond weighing 19 carats, replacing the Swarovski crystal that normally inhabits the space.
This luxurious bottle of champagne was created for an unnamed private client, and the label is also cut from 18-carats of solid white gold and is engraved with the client’s name.
The man behind this prestigious champagne was designed by Alexander Amosu, and in 2009 he set a Guinness World Record for creating the most valuable suit which was made from gold thread, Himalayan pashmina, qiviuk and vicuna. The men’s suit shockingly took more than 80 hours and 5,000 stiches to make.
The champagne is a mixture of Grand Cru Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunie which creates a floral, refreshing and creamy texture which completes with a light and elegant finish.
